Extensive use of wood from native trees was done such as Tabebuia pallida, Balau, etc. And the lodge was built right into and around the granite rock.

The indigenous species of the island are everywhere to be seen, from the sociable white-tail tropic birds, to immaculate terns, giant tortoises, etc.
